Sorry the reminder is so late for this challenge, we have only a few more hours and we currently have 21 entries, it would be really great to have some more. I will extend for 24 hours if no more come in, but it would be nice to keep to schedule, it helps a procrastinator like me! LOL

You can get your entries in Here

Well, we are back with a new challenge, a bit later than intended! The challenge this time is the mini series "Clarissa" based on the book by Samuel Richardson. He was a popular writer of the 18th century.

I have read the book, it is written in a series of letters. If you like a long read, unabridged it is over 1536 pages long. For any of us who have wished we had lived in those times it is truly a wake up call of the helplessness of women of that age and through history.

Sean Bean plays the rake, against Clarissa's goodness and purity. It is worth a watch if you get the chance, but some scenes are shocking.

Entries are due by Tuesday February 16th Midnight EST. Rules/Images etc under the cut.

Results for Challenge 83 are under the cut, congrats to all the winners. All of the entries were beautiful, it was very difficult deciding on a mod's choice. New challenge and banners soon.

If you haven't voted yet in our current poll, please be sure to do that by midnight EST tonight! We could use more votes, there are a few ties right now. And we definitely could use more votes for Best Cropping, only a handful of members have voted for that category. Please vote by way of comment to the VOTING POST for one icon you think had the best crop. Thanks!

Good correspondence was important in the Regency times, with no net and emails lol. I think writing a good letter is a dying art now we have the ease of the internet. Jane Austen herself once said "A person who can write a long letter with ease, cannot write ill."

I have made caps for the challenge which you can download Here : {Extra Caps} I have posted a selection under the cut, but there are many better ones in the download. Most of the caps are by myself. Other thanks go to ddhockey for the S&S 1996 ones and to Longbourn for the Emma 1996 & Persuasion 1995 caps.

Entries for this challenge are due Tuesday December 1st Midnight EST. There are some specific rules to this challenge, so read them carefully. :)
